Robotics

Whether you are an absolute newbie, have dabbled a little, or an experienced roboticist, we have something for you.

Join us for introductory classes that use LEGO SPIKE kits (replaces Mindstorms), or more advanced classes using the Arduino platform.

Beyond introductory classes, we invite you to reverse engineer commercial projects from our partners and build prototypes to solve real world problems. There’s also opportunity to get feedback from real practicing engineers!

If you have an idea but don’t know where you can build it, come have a chat with us as well.

We welcome the challenge.

Build And Ride (BAR)

Partnering Docyke, we’re very excited to be offering a brand new programme featuring constructible kits that builds rides that you can actually sit in!

Docyke has invested heavily into researching and improving the robustness and safety for each model.

Through this partnership, participants now have a unique opportunity to attend courses to build go-karts* and drive them in our custom circuits, or buy a kit home to build your own rides!

BAR programmes are suitable for both children and adults, and can be customised for different settings including corporate team bonding or family days. Drop us a line to find out more!

*Our first participant built and submitted the project as part of his DSA presentation. He got offered!! Tap to watch him build it!

Coding

Starting on coding doesn’t have to be intensive or scary! It can actually be very fun given the correct context. Coding is a valuable skill that anyone can learn to build a good foundation for the tech-y world of tomorrow.

We offer two types of coding classes, catered to the learner’s readiness and appetite for challenge – Block and Text-based

Block-coding classes feature the use of MIT’s SCRATCH platform, empowering children as young as 7 years old to animate their favourite stories or create (even multiplayer) games of their own design!

Scratch awesomely hides (abstracts away) the tedious syntax so that users can focus on building the logical processes and steps. Working on scratch helps learners build the foundation to use other languages in the future.

Text coding classes using Python or C are also available.

3D Design And Printing

All kids love to draw. Imagine what they can create if empowered with advanced technologies!

Whether they’re using 3D doodling pens*, or creating objects on a virtual canvas, the possibilities of creation are endless!

From as young as 5 years old, create your own accessories, decorations, toys or replacement parts for household items.

Come check us out for a hours of endless fun and creation. We also have in-house 3D Printers to print your creations for you to bring home.

Platforms include 3D Pens, Tinkercad, Onshape

*Our 3D pens utilise PCL filaments that melt at 70degC instead of PLA that melts at 200 degC. We think this is safer for children (and actually anyone). PLA options are available upon request.
